I find a lot on the breechloaders but nothing on the commercial rifles. Good to hear that also .451 were made. I wonder if mine was ment for target or hunting?

Probably both, although, under Volunteer or NRA shooting rules, it would not be eligible in the Enfield classes.

I have been told that the rifle was intended for "big soft games" (tiger, lion and sofort). But I doubt that strongly. I would have prefered a shorter, doublebarreled rifle with not as delicate sight...
